Torchlight march dedicated to the anniversary of the Battle of Kruty

Torchlight march of Ukrainian nationalist dedicated to the anniversary since the Battle of Kruty took place in Kyiv January 29. Hundreds of Kyevan residents join the action, organized by "Svoboda", "Right Sector" and soldiers of "Sich" and "Azov" battalions. 

Torchlight march was started at the "Arsenalna" station and came to the Heroes of the Kruty memorial on Askold's Grave. Ceremonial meeting at the memorial began with a pray for the dead warriors of this battle. After the prayer, the head of Kyiv "Svoboda" Andriy Mohnyk gave the floor to soldiers from volunteer battalions who honored the Kruty warriors.

"God grant we will overcome the enemy. And God helps us, we feel it and we will win the sworn enemy. God with us! Ukraine with us!" - soldier of "Sich" battalion said, a representative of the Donetsk "Svoboda", the first prisoner of Hrushevskoho battles in Kyiv, Andriy Loza.

Igor Miroshnichenko, "Svoboda" member said: "Every year, we honoring the Heroes of Kruty, we always remember this guys, whose bravery should be an example for all of us. But this year is different from previous, this year we have to remember not only the Heroes of Kruty, but the "Heavenly Hundred" and those heroes, who put their lives on the altar of our national-liberation struggle. Their work is extremely important in building of united Ukraine and fight the ancient enemy!

And most importantly, our task - to save the life of each hero! Their work on the front is important, but more importantly, the people who love Ukraine, the real Pride of Nation should live. Therefore, we mus find the leader of the Nation, who will lead the Nation to victory and to the development of the Ukrainian state, Ukraine which the outstanding Ukrainians dreaming about:  Only those, who keeps the feat of "Heavenly Hundred" in a heart is able to build real Ukrainian state, which we pass on to future generations Ukrainians."
