FOR PEACE, BUT NOT AT ANY PRICE!

Kramatorsk residents arranged a rally in the city center under the slogan "for peace, but not at any price!" yesterday, on September 15. This rally was timed to the official visit of foreign ministers of Germany and France to Kramatorsk.

By means of this action the local residents (the rally was also attended by residents of Sloviansk city) were tried to convey a thought to the ambassadors, that "It is impossible comply with the terms of truce as long as the Russian troops are in the Ukrainian cities." The citizens of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk (the cities were first who experienced the whole burden of the Russian occupation two years ago) are totally against the elections in the occupied parts of the Donbass, since it is clear that the objectivity of this elections will be zero. 

Recall, French and German representatives of the international group on conflict settlement in the Donbass are demanding from the Ukrainian government to provide special status to the particular territories of Donbass controlled by the terrorists as well as to ensure conduction of elections there, which would in fact legalize the Kremlin backed terrorists in Ukrainian law.

The Donbass cities residents are claim: "We don't need peace at the price of Russian occupation! We don't want to live neither under Russian occupation nor as a part of any newly formed republics." Ukrainian patriots and veterans of the war were trying to convey the same opinion to the Ukrainian parliamentarians during mass protest actions near the Verkhovna Rada. However, the authorities have ignored the people's voice, the president called the protest rallies as a manifestation of populism. 

Since the country's leadership remain continue to disregard the opinion of its own nation, continuing to follow the will of "foreign partners," ordinary prople of Donbass cities decided to express what they think about the terrorists' elections directly to to foreign ambassadors. However, obviously, despite the clear citizens position, the Western politicians are indifferent to the fact that Ukrainian are not willing to surrender in the sake of an artificial peace.
