THE MILITARY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE BROUGHT THE CASE AGAINST THE "RUSICH" MILITANT GROUP

The General Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine investigates the case against the leaders of the "Rusich" militant gang, reports the press service of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

A preliminary investigation is currently undergoing in criminal proceedings against Alexey Milchakov and Yan Petrovsky, the leaders of the "Rusich DARG," illegal military grup which used to participate a military conflict in eastern Ukraine as a part of the "Batman rapid response military group" of the LPR (LNR) terrorist organization, reads the report.

The investigation has revealed the terrorist group's involvement in the attacks on the units of the Anti-terrorist operation forces, particularly on 5 September 2014 near the village of Schastia, Luhansk region, in which result the soldiers of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion "Aidar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed.

However, the militant group leaders have long announced suspension of military activity in eastern Ukraine within the pro-Russian terrorist groups and returned to the territory of the Russian Federation, so the case against the terrorists will unlikely ends with succesfull result since it has been started too late.

In general, the main feature of the Rusich DARG is that the militant group has positioned itself as a "nationalist," however, at the same time it promotes to implementation of the Kremlin's "Russian World" project, whish is nothing else then an attempt to reestablish Soviet Union.

Positioning themselves as Russian nationalists the Rusich members, seems deliberately ignore the current circumstances in their motherland, were the ruling regime has literally deprived the titular nation of any opportunity for national revival, considering the patriotic-minded citizens as a cannon fodder for the Soviet-Eurasian project of the "Russian world."
