ON ITALY'S PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS RESULTS

Clearly, that the result of latest parliamentary elections in Italy could hardly be taken positively by those Ukrainians, interested in European politics. Local pro-Moscow political parties have won places in both houses of the country's parliament - the House of Deputies and the Senate. Both the parties' programs are based on Eurosceptic positions, however, on what purpose? For example, the Lega Nord openly promotes to separatist sentiment in the north of the Apennines. Tthe question is whether it is necessary to tear the country in orderto to save the national identity of Italians? In addition, the pro-Russian populist Movimento 5 Stelle party got  31.05% of the vote in the lower house of parliament.

It seems that the Italian nationalists from the CasaPound (CPI) movements had became one of the most adequate party in the race. Despite the fact that the CPI has support among Italian youth, they could not pass the percentage barrier (1%, 312,000 votes). Probably, spin doctors had played their role, taking into account that the above mentioned populist parties are backed by local oligarchs, who haven't even hide their  relations with Russia.

The very CasaPound has noted that such result demonstrate the movement's progress, comparing to the previous result that was 8 times low. After The elections the nationalist movement has increased georgaphic range of its activities, since during the election campaign the inhabitants of Italy repeatedly appealed to the CasaPound for help in solving those problems that the liberal officials weren't payd attention.

We believe that the CasaPound should take a clear position regarding the Italian-Ukrainian relations. At a time when Italian right separatists, standing along with Italian neo-communists, are looking for ways to cooperate with Moscow-guided separatists in Ukraine, Italian nationalists and patriots should seek an opportunity to work together with Ukrainians. Europe is now being clamped between two clearly hostile beings - on the one hand cultural maexists from the EU, and Russia - with its prevaling plutocracy and mixture of contraversial ideas - on the other. 

Ukrainian nationalists wishes the CasaPound to continue its successful fight for the good of Italian people and victories at all fronts!
